Your day might include:

  • Interpreting data, analyzing results while using statistical techniques, and providing ongoing reports
  • Managing projects to analyze, cleanse, enrich and monitor master data elements
  • Creating, implementing, and maintaining master data management solutions that enable users to optimize systems capabilities
  • Utilizing data quality tools and techniques to help ensure that data accuracy is appropriate for the intended business use. Ensuring that business rules are maintained and data anomalies are resolved appropriately
  • Improving and customizing current data solutions to meet business functional and non-functional requirements
  • Directly managing the implementation of an enterprise-wide data inventory, and data flow maps in close coordination with the Enterprise Data Management program leaders
  • Providing a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization.
  • Helping lead the roadmap, approaching and socializing of business processes, governance and supporting tools to drive our Enterprise Data Management strategy forward
  • Maintain and support enterprise business intelligence reporting tools
  • Documenting, profiling, and analyzing organization-widedataand databases
  • Developing a proactive methodology for effective data management by collecting, analyzing and reporting on disparate data sources
  • Researching new and existing data sources in order to contribute to new development, improving data management processes, and making recommendations for data quality initiatives

What you bring to the team:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • At least 5 years working with data management frameworks
  • At least 5 years of data inventory and data mapping experience
  • 5 years' data governance experience that covers standards and policies, metadata management, data error resolution, data management and data quality practices, including data profiling and data quality monitoring
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem solving skills and the ability to effectively utilize techniques to derive insights
  • Data modeling experience
  • Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of data assets
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate operational and technical issues to a wide variety of audience's at all organizational levels - must have strong data storytelling abilities
  • Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders - story-boarding, user story writing and requirements gathering workshops, digitize story-boarding artifacts and provide input in design sessions
  • Excellent communication and people skills, Ability to provide clear documentation as needed, and must be able to develop and present new technology

Competitive pay: $78,693.28 - $118,039.92 annual salary, dependent on applicable qualifications plus an annual discretionary incentive plan

Where we're located: 330 Union Ave, Olympia WA. Employee must reside and perform all work in the state of Washington. This is a work from home/hybrid position with the exception of occasional on-site training, meetings and specific organization events.

When you'd work: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, with scheduling flexibility depending on business needs for this Exempt position
