This position is for a REDCap Project Manager to oversee the implementation, management, and optimization of a REDCap database for a multi-center longitudinal research study (6000 study records / 12 Data Access Groups and growing). This role involves coordinating with project leadership and research sites, ensuring data integrity, building reports for ancillary studies, and facilitating communication between project leadership, biostatistician and research sites to support research objectives.The Medical Informaticist I applies biomedical and informatics knowledge to assist in the design and development of queries to extract data from the Research Data Core. May educate staff and assist in problem solving to promote the implementation of health care IT and data management platforms. This role will include both small and medium projects with investigators as well as the possibility for longer-term research work in collaboration with external research institutions.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and milestones to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Coordinate with biostatistician and project managers to identify and address any issues related to REDCap database.
- Design and implement changes to data collection instruments, surveys, and data entry forms within REDCap.
- Automate and manage longitudinal survey collection.
- Monitor data entry and data quality across all study sites.
- Perform routine checks and audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Address data discrepancies and provide solutions for data-related issues.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for REDCap users. Discern between REDCap and IT issues.
- Facilitate communication between project leadership, research sites and data management team.
- Participate in regular project meetings with project leadership to review progress and address any challenges.
