In support of Medical Physics Division performing function of quality assurance for B-J Radiation Oncology patients.Job Description
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs ionization chamber QA measurements.
- Performs radiographic film QA measurements.
- Performs radiochromic film measurements.
- Portal imaging fluence measurements.
- Ensures that laboratory and work area comply with Department health procedures with no violations or exceptions.
- Conducts behavior in professional manner while conducting clinical duties.
- Keeps equipment in working condition.
- Alerts physics faculty of inoperative or malfunctioning equipment or imminent supply shortages.
Preferred Qualifications
- Training in radiation therapy such as intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) quality assurance (QA) techniques.
Required Qualifications
Associate degree; a combination of work and education equaling four years may substitute. High school diploma or equivalent high school certification required.

$17.93 - $26.92 / Hourly The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
