The Inventory Supply Specialists functions independently as a member of the Washington Vascular Specialist patient care team and administration.
Inventory Supply Specialists:
The role of the Inventory Supply Specialists is vital to the operating room and inventory for Outpatient Surgical Center. The Inventory Supply Specialists provides immediate support to the Corporate office Account Manager and staff. The Inventory Supply Specialists should act as a critical resource to the team at multiple locations (3). The Inventory Supply Specialists should be knowledgeable, well-rounded, helpful, and supportive of a team-like attitude. The Inventory Supply Coordinator is a vital source of knowledge and skills.
Inventory Supply Specialists:
Researches potential vendors and negotiates prices
Work with management to identify supply needs
Recommends solutions to existing processes to reduce waste and increase the quantity
Record and assess all materials quality, movement, and expenditure
Manage the distribution of supplies in the organization
Monitor inventory levels and access to the material
Collaborate with management to plan forecasting models
Oversee and support subordinates and new employees
Prepare and file detailed records on procurement activity, quantity, and vendors
Design and maintain facility budgets
Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelors Degree
One to Two years of medical supply inventory
