Job Title: Procedures Administrator
Department: ESH&Q
Reports To: QA Manager
Location: Andrews, Tx worksite
Summary
Responsible for intermediate level administrative and clerical tasks related to the establishment, editing, improvement, and maintenance of RCRA, Byproduct and Low Level Radioactive Waste
Facility procedures and other controlled documents.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
Edits, formats and publishes procedures of a technical nature for each of the company’s facilities. Procedure administration is cradle to grave; inclusive of grammar, spelling and sentence structure review and editing, from procedure revision initiation or creation with the applicable manager or supervisor to the final editing, signature approvals and final publishing to the site. As required, form, table and graph creation and editing, mostly from the company’s office software, will need incorporation into these procedures.
Acts as an records administrator; including review, editing, date/text entry, tracking, filing, reporting, retrieval, and distribution for assorted record keeping programs, including but not limited to: internal and external correspondence, training and required reading, instructions, procedures and drawings, non-conformance and corrective action reporting, records inventory and disposition schedule (RIDS), qualified supplier lists, and controlled document locations.
May be required to perform a variety of non-routine administrative tasks in pursuit of quality assurance objectives, associated audits and other related tasks.
May be required to coordinate the activities of personnel assigned to assist with records administration.

Education and/or Experience
Associate’s Degree or sixty (60) hours of related study; and one year office related experience and/or training; or 2-yrs records administration or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience per the discretion of the hiring manager is required.
Language Skills
Ability to read and analyze, using critical thought and logical interpretation, interpret documents such as procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals including all ancillary charts, graphs, tables and maps. Ability to write, and proofread, routine and technical reports, correspondence and procedures. Ability to speak effectively before groups or employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ration, and percent.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual will possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working knowledge of Database software, Internet software, and Project Management software.
Other Skills and Abilities
Must possess strong organizational skills and verbal and written communication skills including composition and grammar. Demonstrated ability to be detail oriented, interpret requirements, take dictation and transcribe technical information, type at a minimum speed of 50 WPM, utilize
Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook software programs and operate imaging scanning equipment.
Must have knowledge of conventional administrative practices.
