We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Parts Manager who specializes in Boats to join our team. The Parts Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the parts department, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in boat parts and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the parts department
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with parts inquiries and resolving any
issues or concerns
- Train and supervise parts department staff
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
- Candidates will NOT be considered without Marine background/experience
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Boat Parts Manager or similar role in an automotive dealership or
repair facility
- Lightspeed experience a PLUS
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of boat parts
- Proficient in boat management systems and order management systems
- Familiarity with parts ordering processes
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
