Job Description:
As the Front of House Manager at Waterfront, you'll play a pivotal role in upholding the restaurant's chic atmosphere while overseeing the exceptional customer service experience. Nestled along the water in Downtown Stuart, our restaurant provides a unique and picturesque setting, with a focus on craft cocktails, a chic lounge area, and fine dining upstairs.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service Excellence: Ensure every guest enjoys a memorable and personalized dining experience in our chic waterfront setting, with particular emphasis on our fine dining atmosphere upstairs.
- Staff Leadership: Lead and inspire our front-of-house team, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, to deliver top-notch service and craft cocktail expertise.
- Reservations and Seating: Manage reservations, table assignments, and waitlists to optimize the use of our scenic waterfront dining area and chic lounge area.
- Quality Control: Maintain the pristine condition and ambiance of our dining areas, from table settings to lighting, that define our chic atmosphere and upscale fine dining.
- Guest Relations: Develop strong relationships with our patrons, address feedback, and handle special requests, creating a loyal customer base that appreciates our craft cocktails and delectable appetizers.
- Menu Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of our menu offerings, allowing you to assist guests in making informed selections and offering recommendations for both entrees and appetizers.
- Staff Training: Lead staff training sessions to uphold our high service standards, menu knowledge, craft cocktail preparation, and customer interaction.
- Inventory Management: Handle front-of-house inventory, such as tableware, linens, and supplies, to ensure a well-equipped and inviting dining environment in both our chic lounge area and fine dining section.
- Safety and Compliance: Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing requirements, enhancing the safety of our chic waterfront location.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor costs, including labor, and collaborate with management to achieve financial objectives while preserving our unique ambiance and craft cocktail offerings.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster seamless communication and teamwork with the kitchen staff, bar team, and management to create an exceptional waterfront dining experience with an extensive menu of entrees and appetizers.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Prior experience in restaurant or hospitality management, with an emphasis on front-of-house operations, craft cocktails, and fine dining service.
- Customer Focus: A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and cultivating a welcoming atmosphere in our chic waterfront location, with expertise in our craft cocktails and appetizer menu.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and motivation skills for our front-of-house team, emphasizing the craft cocktail lounge area and fine dining experience.
- Organization: Exceptional organizational skills to manage reservations, seating, and daily service logistics in multiple dining areas.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to thrive in a dynamic restaurant environment, especially during peak service hours, for both craft cocktails and fine dining service.
