POSITION SUMMARY: The Inventory Manager will oversee and be responsible for the receipt, storage, fulfillment, and distribution of Waterlogics inventory from warehouse to the customer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and implement an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures
- Multiple Distribution Networks
- Multiple Customers and Product Lines
- Maintain accurate inventory of supply and products
- Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems
- Investigate and resolve inconsistencies with inventory
- Manage business supplies and raw material
- Examine the levels of supplies and raw material to determine shortages
- Identify shortages and act in a timely manner
- Document daily deliveries and shipments to replenish inventory
- Plan, implement and manage procedures to optimize inventory control and loss mitigation
- Define inventory KPIs and track them regularly
- Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments
- Evaluate and modify where necessary new inventory to ensure its ready for shipment
- Order new supplies to avoid inefficiencies or excessive surplus
- Analyze different suppliers to obtain the best cost-effective deals
- Recruit and train new employees
- Supervise and mentor staff
- Hire, train and provide development opportunities for staff
- Develop inventory staff schedule
- Ensure a safe working environment
- Make recommendations to leadership about improvements in inventory life cycle for SLAs
- Minimize inventory loss by incorporating best supply chain practices
- Oversee daily operations and identify bottlenecks
- Suggest solutions for continuous improvements
- Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices
- Implement inventory software and solutions
- Maintain consistent and sufficient stock levels to meet clients demands
- Anticipate and react to shortages and changes in inventory
- Analyze data and statistics to continually improve processes
- Use software to track inventory characteristics, types, and movement
- Audit processes and inventory to track performance
- Oversee and control inventory coming in and out of the warehouse, branches, and technician van stock to ensure right part, right place, right time philosophy
- Work with suppliers to purchase goods and build good working relationships
- Find ways to reduce costs and optimize control procedures
- Manage and collaborate with a team of warehouse/inventory workers
- Present findings, reports, and data to upper management on regular schedule
- 5 year of related managerial experience and/or inventory control experience
- 10 years of experience with inventory management software (e.g., ERP)
- Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
- Organizational skills to manage multiple moving pieces, people, and orders
- Previous experience training, coaching and mentoring staff
- Proven ability to implement process improvements
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases
- Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
- Experience working with inventory management software and forecasting strategies
- Experience conducting tracking and data analysis
- Product and inventory management certification a plus
- Critical-thinking skills to establish action plans and routinely assess their effectiveness
