Position Summary:
Registration Clerks interact with patients as they are admitted to the hospital for services and enter patients' personal information and insurance or payment information into a customized computer system. Experience with all aspects of the business office preferred.
This is a PRN (as needed) position that will cover all registration areas of the hospital, both day, night, and weekend shifts. Flexibility with scheduling is required.
Qualifications:
* Must have excellent customer service skills and work well with the public
* Must be able to type 45 wpm and ten key by touch
* Must understand medical terminology
* Must be comfortable with computers and office machines
* Prior experience with the public preferred
* Prior medical office experience preferred
