Job Description Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician Location: Media, PA What are we looking for? Facility Maintenance Technician will provide support for the campus and office associates. This position is responsible for the general maintenance throughout the office: painting, building repairs, ongoing maintenance responsibilities, as well as coordination with subcontractors. The Facility Maintenance Technician also supports 4 season maintenance of 27 acres of property which includes working with contracted services such as janitorial, landscaping, window washing, and more. Things you like to do: You are a detailed oriented worker who can tackle projects that require focus in a high traffic environment You can work alone but still maintain the team environment and collaboration You’re a bit of a social butterfly with good customer service skills What you’ve done: You have a high school diploma, GED ore equivalent experience Possess a commercial Driver’s License Experience working in general contracting, building maintenance, construction, or any related field Experience working with power tools, maintenance equipment, HVAC, etc. Good understanding of Building Management Systems, and facility procedures What you’ll do: Complete daily tasks as well as task that arise throughout the day, possibly including off site duties Monitor the building automation system First Responder for systems including, but not limited to, fire systems, Halon, HVAC and generators. Monitor and maintain all indoor and outdoor systems, equipment, and vehicles Perform basic preventative maintenance on a wide variety of equipment, machinery, systems, and buildings. Perform seasonal task as they arise including but not limited to grass cutting, snow removal, leaf removal, mulching, etc. Work with outside vendors to ensure an atmosphere that is safe and functional for all associates as well as vendors.
