Waxing Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Licensed Esthetician or Cosmetologist with a specialization in waxing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for skin care, a gentle touch, and an expert ability to provide comfortable, high-quality waxing services. You will play a crucial role in ensuring each client's visit is relaxing, positive, and leaves them feeling their best.

Responsibilities:Perform professional waxing services, including but not limited to Brazilian, bikini, facial, leg, arm, back, and chest waxing. Conduct client consultations, including reviewing medical histories and determining client goals to recommend appropriate services.Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards, following salon protocols and state regulations.Ensure client comfort before, during, and after waxing services.Educate clients on aftercare procedures and recommend products for post-waxing care.Build and maintain positive client relationships, encouraging repeat business and referrals.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in waxing and skin care. Manage inventory of supplies and report any shortages to salon management promptly. Assist with front desk duties, such as scheduling appointments and processing payments, as needed.

Requirements: Valid Mississippi Esthetician or Cosmetology license is required. Previous experience in waxing or a similar role preferred but not required. Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly, positive attitude. Ability to work well under pressure and maintain professionalism. Strong verbal communication skills. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings. Commitment to maintaining personal appearance and adhering to the salon's dress code.
