Responsibilities Include:
- Be a part of a clinical team that is committed to changing the lives of young people in Orange County. Our supportive team believes in a whatever-it-takes approach to support youth ages 12-25 whose mental health symptoms have brought them in contact with the juvenile justice system.
- Oversees the direct service staff providing case management and mental health rehabilitation, facilitates case coordination meetings with external partners, provides support covering crisis intervention, develops clinical treatment plans, reports child/dependent/elder abuse, identifies client strengths, and implements age-appropriate coping and life skills.
- Conduct clinical assessments in the community and updates treatment plans at 6 month and annual intervals.
- Bring strong clinical knowledge, creativity, innovation and energy to our team to help youth make their way past conflict and crisis to a place of strength and stability.
- Position has a hybrid work schedule.
Requirements Include:
- Master’s degree in counseling, psychology or social work with the majority of hours towards licensure completed. Possession of a current associate number with BBS (MFT/LCSW) required. LMFT or LCSW preferred.
- Two years counseling experience with adolescents and families or a minimum of 1,000 supervised clinical hours preferred.
- Requires knowledge of theory and experience with techniques of individual, family, and group dynamics, behavioral interventions, substance abuse, crisis intervention, motivational interviewing, trauma-focused and cognitive behavioral approaches.
- Demonstrates the ability to work with a multicultural and diverse population with sensitivity and respect.
- Must be available for after-hours emergencies with 24/7 capability for consultation.
- Valid California driver's license, liability insurance meeting minimum state requirements, and a satisfactory driving record.
