Waypoint Analytical, an accredited Environmental Laboratory in Carrollton, GA, has a full-time opening for Analytical Chemists. Knowledge of wastewater analysis methods is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Learning and performing all assigned analytical methods according to the standard operating procedures.
Completing testing in an accurate and timely manner.
Maintaining a safe and clean work area.
Mixing and maintaining various standardized solutions used for analysis.
Qualifications:
A two or four year degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Must have working knowledge of analytical instrumentation.
Must be a hard worker who can prioritize tasks based on due dates.
Should be able to stand for several hours at a time and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Should have good computer skills.
