Overview of Member Engagement Manager
The Member Engagement Manager will report to the Director of Member Services & Engagement and will be tasked with overseeing the team of central engagement specialists. The ideal candidate will be a highly personable professional with excellent communication skills. This individual will work to support multiple markets that Wayspring offers services in and oversee multiple member engagement specialists.
Responsibilities of the Member Engagement Manager
- Responsible for day-to-day operations of Wayspring’s member engagement team
- Develops and executes benchmarks and key performance indicators, including member engagement and success metrics
- Supervises, leads and trains a team of engagement specialists working directly with Wayspring members
- Provides training to all new engagement specialists
- Completes administrative tasks as assigned
- Initiates creative strategies to facilitate member contact
- Maintains performance accountability and achieve performance targets
- Adheres to Wayspring information security and privacy requirements
- Works across markets to provide trainings on engagement
- Develops appropriate documentation protocols
- Leads delivery of in-market execution of member engagement
- Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations as well as health plan policies relative to program documentation and reporting
Requirements & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred
- Demonstrated ability working in a matrixed environment
- The ability to communicate effectively and persuasively is required
- Exceptional verbal communication skills, and effective presentation skills
- Ability to travel as business needs require (Up to 25%)
- 2 years of experience in working with individuals with substance use disorders
- Director supervisory experience is required of multi-person teams
- History of managing substance use disorder or behavioral health programs preferred
- Excellent written, computer, presentation, and oral communication skills
- Strong leadership skills and willingness to support and manage front-line staff
- Passion for serving patients with substance use disorder
