Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide all customer service functions
- Receive customers' requests electronically, via telephone, fax, or email
- Build customer’s interest in the services and products offered by the company
- Identify and take advantage of opportunities for new business
- Process orders, price quotations, and similar data to customers, as appropriate, through mainly emails and faxes.
- Approximately 40-80 orders and 15 inbound calls per day with an order accuracy level of 99.6% or better
- Maintain knowledge of product line, prices, delivery time, various marketing promotional services, and similar data, as required
- Analyze requests, provides information requested or ascertains who best can provide the information, and routes the request to the proper person
- Search company records
- Trace status of orders
- Resolve customer questions
- Maintain liaison with other internal departments
- Be a backup for call center inbound calls
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Assists in Returns and Replacements as needed
- Performs other allied duties as assigned by supervisor
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Ability to de-escalate customers
- Strong team player
- 1-3 years of business-to-business experience, prefer for experience to include electrical/electronic or distribution
- Positive-can do attitude
- Ability to operate simple office equipment sufficiently to perform the job
- Intermediate PC skills
- Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Local candidates only will be considered
Education:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- College Degree preferred
Hours:
- Monday – Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm OR 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
- No nights or weekends
