```Duties``` - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine the layout and specifications for structural steel projects - Measure, cut, and shape steel components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery - Weld or solder components together using various welding techniques such as stick welding - Assemble and erect structural steel components according to project plans and specifications - Use rigging equipment to lift and position steel beams, columns, and other structural elements - Perform quality control inspections to ensure that all work meets industry codes and standards - Operate equipment such as plasma cutters to fabricate steel components as needed ```Requirements``` - Proven experience as an ironworker or similar role in the construction industry - Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings - Strong knowledge of welding techniques, including stick welding - Familiarity with codes and standards related to structural steel construction - Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, climbing, and working at heights - Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions accurately Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
