Underwriting Account Manager - ID

Position

WCF is an A Rated insurance carrier that is growing and is looking for an applicant that wants to join a company with a great culture, great benefits, and great employees. We have an immediate opening for someone who can demonstrate the WCF values to join our team as an Underwriting Account Manager. This is a full-time, non-exempt, hybrid position that works out of WCF's Boise ID Office. This posting is open to internal and external candidates.

Responsibilities

This position works under the direction of the underwriters, managing accounts with respect to policy underwriting, processing of policy changes, and providing customer support to external agents and policyholders. This role involves various tasks as follows:

• Information gathering
• Risk analysis
• File documentation
• Processing of policy renewals and endorsements
• Taking calls and responding to emails from external customers
• Managing multiple priorities
• Maintaining high service level standards for all customers, both internal and external

Qualifications

The most qualified candidate will have:

• At least 1 year of customer service experience in the insurance industry
• Competent in P & C insurance principles and terminology.
• Strong commitment to excellent customer service.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field - math or statistics preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
• Industry certifications preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong MS Office skills required, especially in Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and without direct supervision.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a timely manner.

An internal candidate should have six months in their current position. Candidates should have acceptable job performance and a good attendance record in their current position and must notify their current supervisor that they have applied for the position.
