IT Lead Responsibilities
As an IT Lead with WCTractor, you will oversee the operation and management of the information systems and related services functions ensuring their effectiveness. This position establishes effective communication with appropriate executives and managers to ensure effective information technology needs are met.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Set up new employee computers, email, and user accounts
- Provide users with technical support for computer problems
- Develop computer information resources, providing for data security and control, strategic computing, and disaster recovery
- Maintain knowledge pertaining to remote server
- Direct IT activities for the company; direct operations of company-wide information systems, including telecommunications and data networks
- Provide hands-on involvement and support of technology projects and accountability for the ultimate success of such projects
- Establish technology standards and methods of evaluating applications; plan and execute feasibility studies
- Survey new and/or emerging technologies; prepare ROI analyses for management review; develop plans for acquisition and installation of equipment and software
- Keep informed of new developments and trends; make recommendations to senior management on desirable additions or replacements
- Perform other duties as assigned
IT Lead Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates degree required; Bachelors Degree in Business or Computer Science or other technical discipline from an accredited university; additional IT training/certification preferred
- Minimum three (3) years of computer systems experience
- Previous industry experience preferred
- Knowledge of business objectives and strategies
- Excellent time management, presentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to interpret and apply complex technical information
- Knowledge of systems design and implementation in a database environment
- Knowledge of technical and user-related aspects of a personal computer environment
- Creative and adaptive program planning, design, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation skills
