What We Need:
The Global Marketing Content Manager will write, produce, and blog various types of downloadable content to expand our company’s digital footprint, awareness, subscribers, and leads. This role will be responsible for creating detailed and creative marketing content using sophisticated program management skills. This role will help drive WE’s content marketing approach, write compelling audience-relevant content in a variety of different sectors and industries, and drive content development while embodying the company’s voice throughout.
What you'll be doing:
Job Functions:

Develop, own and evolve the content marketing strategy for WE that supports and extends both short- and long-term marketing initiatives, determining which methods work for the brand and why.

Create a functional content calendar and define realistic timing and ownership to be published regularly.

Write various types of content on a wide range of topics (blogs, case studies, thought leadership, sector-level topics, etc.) on an ongoing basis to support and promote the agency and to attract visitors through search, social media, etc.

Contribute to long-form content projects such as intellectual capital/thought leadership pieces, executive-level communications, etc.

Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content including online, social media, email, mobile, video, print and in-person.

Develop standards, systems and best practices (both human and technological) for content creation, distribution, maintenance, content retrieval and content repurposing.

Optimize content for search engines and lead generation.

Establish a work flow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring content partnering with technical teams to implement appropriate CMS.

Ensure a consistent global content experience and implement appropriate localization/translation strategies.

Conduct periodic competitive audits.

What you've been able to accomplish:
Minimum/Preferred Requirements:
-
5 – 7 years of next-generation digital and visual storytelling, content strategy, business development, creative direction, social media and marketing.

Experience producing content for the web specifically, as well as channel-specific knowledge (blog, SlideShare, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) preferred

Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our business' various types of content, across various sectors preferred.

Solid organizational and project management skills.

Self-motivated and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and tight deadlines.

Possess exceptional communications skills.

Client and business environment, Customer service orientation is a must. Job pressure may exist.

Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week on occasion

Experience working globally or with colleagues in multiple locations

Strong presentation and consulting skills along with the ability to read, write and speak English

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
