What We Need
We are looking for a first-class Social Media Manager to oversee the creation and implementation of innovative and engaging multi-platform social and digital marketing campaigns – watching ideas and strategies come to life with a team of brilliant communicators at your side.
The Social Media Manager will drive strategic approaches to ongoing programs and campaigns for brands and audiences across health, corporate, consumer and technology spaces. They will be responsible for managing overall account performance, with a strong focus on content strategy and planning, copywriting, paid media implementation, digital marketing strategy, community management, reporting and analytics. They will also have a strong understanding of influencer engagement, creative and executive positioning.
Together with the Digital and Creative teams, they’ll create and deliver award-winning campaigns from briefs that come in from our varied portfolio of clients.
What you'll be doing
- Day to day management on two of the worlds’ most loved and prolific health and consumer tech brands, managing high profile consumer marketing campaigns with influencers across channels
- Help develop and execute strategic digital, social and paid media plans
- Work with Social Media Executive’s and Account Directors to provide day-to-day contact with clients/internal teams, be extremely organised and help proactively run accounts like a well-oiled machine
- Develop copywriting and content for digital/social assets, ads, blogs and emails.
- Work with design and creative teams to brief and develop digital/social assets and help manage the feedback loop with clients
- Support the development and drive strategic content and channel recommendations based on key audience insight, digital media consumption habits, and digital trends
- Help brainstorm forward-thinking and innovative campaign ideas across creative programs, new business and growth opportunities.
- Help the team oversee paid social and content campaigns from set up, execution, management, optimisations, and reporting.
- Review and analyse data, platform insights, community sentiment tracking and social analytics ad tools in order to optimise current programs.
- Share POV, knowledge, and experience across the agency.
- Contribute to new and ongoing internal and client relationships.
- Strong understanding of digital channel best practice including word count, specs etc.
- Stay on top of new and emerging trends across the digital landscape.
What you've been able to accomplish
Required skills & Compentencies
- 3-5 years’ experience in digital/content/social team either in-house or across agency.
- Understands the role and value of digital and social media in earned, owned and paid.
- Experienced with leading campaigns and plans across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, You Tube, Snapchat, Twitter etc.) and strong understanding across emerging cross-cultural apps (WeChat, TikTok etc.).
- Have experience implementing and executing paid media campaigns using Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, You Tube Creator Studio and Twitter Ads.
- Demonstrated ability to establish strong client relationships and client service management.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work across multiple projects, operate in a team environment, and meet deadlines appropriately.
- Working knowledge of web technologies including at least one CMS (E.g. WordPress), exposure to collaborative tools e.g. Basecamp, Trello and experience with a wide range of publishing platforms such as HootSuite, Sprout, Sprinklr etc.
- Have a working knowledge of digital tracking and measurement technologies such as Talk Walker, Facebook Analytics, Brandwatch, LexisNexis, Crimson Hexagon and Omniture.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Experience in Photoshop, Premier Pro a plus.
Additional requirements
- Understands the role and value of owned and paid social media within the broader digital marketing landscape.
- Previous experience in Google search (SEO and SEM) a plus but not required.
- High level of initiative and ability to think outside the box.
- A big fan of puns
- Strong interest in creative and consumer tech.
- Client and business environment: client service orientation is a must.
- Fast-paced team environment (frequent tight deadlines, multitasking, etc.)
- Strong presentation and consulting skills along with the ability to read, write and speak English
- Contribute to agency brainstorms and contribute to campaign ideas across the digital and PR teams.
