Job Posting for Maintenance Supervisor at WE Communities LLC
The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee all aspects of maintenance at the property including planning, executing and monitoring the activities, projects and operations at their facility and serve as a leader to the maintenance team.
*This position requires relocation to Clemson, SC
Responsibilities:
Oversee the management of the property maintenance team including staff hiring, training, and termination when needed
Coordinate and assist with the proper turn over of units and make-readies for occupancy
Ensure the completion of resident work orders and make sure they are completed in a timely manner
Assist the Property Manager with vendor engagements including obtaining bids, contracts and proposals
Assist the Property Manager with the maintenance budget
Ensure the proper reporting of unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents
Ensure and schedule regular maintenance for the community grounds and amenities
Ensure the proper clean up of work areas, tools and equipment by the maintenance team.
Promote and operate within the OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies
Available to work on an on-call basis
Ability to perform duties of the job while standing, walking, and/or sit for extended periods of time and bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas
Must be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions (rain, snow, hail, wind, sleet)
Ability to push, pull, lift, carry and maneuver weights of up to thirty (30) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance
Other tasks as assigned and needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
One to two years of previous Maintenance experience required
Previous Supervisor experience strongly preferred
HVAC Certification strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
