Job Description
Accounting firm looking for part-time bookkeeper with working knowledge of QuickBooks, especially with bank feeds (downloads and imports). Payroll experience (QuickBooks online Payroll) and payroll functions is a preferred qualification.
General Accountabilities
- Input data into QuickBooks or other accounting software manually and/o by Bank Feeds, code and classify.
- Organize and maintain proper records.
- Reconciliations of accounts.
- Sorts, prioritizes, reviews for accuracy and processes incoming payroll/personnel documents.
- Some light phones may be required from time to time.
Job Qualifications
- Demonstrated 3 years of bookkeeping and QuickBooks experience.
- Experienced with small to mid-size public accounting or bookkeeping firms.
- Proficient in the latest versions of QuickBooks/QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office (Excel).
- Proficient in downloading bank and credit card data directly in QuickBooks and preforming associated coding.
- Ability to work independently, be self-directed and follow through on all job duties without direct supervision.

** You will be required to take a bookkeeping exam at the time of interview to demonstrate knowledge of bookkeeping. Initial interview will be accomplished using video conferencing.
