What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Surveyor position at We R Survey?
We R Survey is seeking an individual site surveyor to prepare existing condition hand drawings and gather as-built documentation for commercial and retail buildings. The Site Surveyor will work with our Project Managers and team in the Tampa, Florida office for project assignments, schedule, and general requirements. Candidate will be provided training on We R Survey as-built survey processes and technologies.
Headquarters Located in Tampa FL, MUST DO IN PERSON INTERVIEW.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
· Conduct site surveys and collect as-built data.
· Produce project-specific as-built drawings as scheduled.
· Proficient in basic construction methodology.
· Proficient in identification and documentation of typical commercial mechanical, electric and plumbing systems.
· Ability to read construction documents.
· Provide quality deliverables (survey data) in the format and distribution method identified by project manager.
· Ability to follow directions, understand project scope, maintain project schedule and complete designated phase of work on time and within budget established.
· Flexible schedule required for project duration.
· Ability to travel extensively during project duration
· Matterport and BLK360 virtual scans of survey sites
· Ability to determine as built conditions of project site, including Roof, Masonry, and HVAC system a plus.
Requirements:
· Attend training as scheduled.
· College degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
· 2 years AutoCAD experience preferred.
· Site survey and development experience preferred.
· Experience drafting architectural construction documents preferred.
· Knowledge and proficient use of current site survey technologies preferred.
· Familiarity of basic construction knowledge, pre-construction services, architectural and VR Scanning:
· Equipment will be provided for use by the company.
· Must have cell phone.
· Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Preferred candidate will have strong work ethic, be diligent, and self-motivated.
· Valid drivers license required
· Ability to travel up to two weeks at a time
Compensation:
· Competitive salary, DOE
· Nightly per diem for travel assignments
· All lodging, rental cars, and airfare provided by company

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
