What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly Team - 1st Shift position at Weaver Fab and Finishing?
WEAVER FAB ASSEMBLY
Job Purpose:
To be able to use various hand and power tools and equipment to assemble parts according to blue print and traveler. Ability to identify and verify specific parts per blue prints and tags and pick, pack and wrap per customer requests.
Duties:
- Follows work instruction and procedures.
- Comes to work on time every day and takes pride in his/her job
- Assembles components by using equipment and/or machinery according to the blue prints
- Verifies operation results through inspection.
- Documents actions by completing records.
- Perform pre-assembly prep by accurately counting and including all components necessary to complete each assembly
- Perform installation, repair, reassembly, replacing, refitting, and adjusting products as required.
- Order and stock materials and supplies to avoid materials shortages.
- Maintains safe work environment by following procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Maintains a clean, safe and orderly work area
- Makes sure inventory and parts are correctly counted, tagged, and logged
Skills/Qualifications
- High School Education or equivalent
- Listening and communication: Must be able to take instruction from supervisor and provide feedback or questions
- Physical strength to lift parts and operate equipment
- Stamina to remain on his/her feet for 8-10 hours and deal with temperature fluctuations
- Time management skills
- Good interpersonal skills in order to work in teams
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
