Our “Roof & Components (RC)” business unit develops and produces roof systems for every type of vehicle and autonomous driving. To achieve this, we rely on the most modern technologies and materials. Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Must have a process approach to troubleshooting and problem solving
- Experience with technical troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Positive approach towards safety and 5s standards
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Set up each tool prior to the scheduled run, ensuring process parameters, such as tool temperatures and spray patterns, are within defined specifications and part quality is acceptable
- Completes 1st part verification for all processes
- Identify and troubleshoot machine faults
- Perform routine maintenance of the equipment, i.e. seal changes, autonomous maintenance activities, minor maintenance activities, and equipment readiness
- Monitor manufacturing process compliance and effectiveness
- Documentation of errors, recovery, and downtime according to internal specification
- Must participate in Continuous improvement activities
