Webasto Roof Systems Inc. is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Specialist (Production Planner) located at their Detroit Plant in Plymouth,MI.

Job Responsibilities
- Release rolling forecast / PO to suppliers upon Purchasing rules
- Safety Stock Management (Analysis/ Manage stocktaking discrepancy)
- Control raw material stock to meet Inventory turnover Ratio (ITR) target
- Daily tracking of the delivery of goods and control freight cost
- Track engineering change (SCM section)
- Maintain SAP system data and MRP operation
- Set proper safety inventory based on material requirements
- Confirm the accuracy between the invoice quantity and actual receipt, resolve discrepancies, check & release invoices
- Evaluate supplier delivery & performance according to supplier assessment criteria
- Control normal freight rate and improve routes and freight
- Ensure clear and timely communication with all cross-functional departments
- Manage supplier delivery window schedule
- Set safety stock, planning calendar (min & max)
- Ensure there is no unplanned material shortage/ back order
- New project order release and on-time delivery
- Manage and control engineering changes and stock balances
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED; college degree preferred
- 3 years experience in Supply Chain managing materials movement
- Experience using SAP material management, master data & BOM modules is preferred
- Strong communication skills with internal and external customers/suppliers
- Strong data statistics and analysis ability
- Experience in the automotive industry (IATF16949 etc.)
- Ability to work independently in addition to working within a team environment
