Account Specialist

Job Summary:

We are looking for customer-focused individuals for an Account Specialist position. This individual will coordinate projects from inception through delivery. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational and time management skills and will serve as the main day to day contact for clients, internal departments, account executives, and vendors. We are looking for an individual with a self-starter mentality who must be able to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to create and maintain priority lists of projects for multiple customers
• Track and manage all orders through delivery
• Ability to switch tasks throughout the day and meet all deadlines
• Prepare quotes using WebbMason’s proprietary quoting system to procure products based on customer’s needs, pricing, availability, and location.
• Prepare customer proposals
• Manage customer-owned inventory by reviewing weekly reports and communication with the client
• Assist in RFP’s by working closely with our marketing department to respond to all questions
• Places orders with vendors, and follow up to ensure deadlines and expectations are met
• Answer product and service questions.
• Monitor all outstanding invoices and follow up with the client for payment
• Inputs data and completes activities in a manner that will prevent errors and omissions.
• Creates and maintains files on orders, quotes.
• Provides support and assistance to the account executive
• Seeks out opportunities to increase sales and/or profit with current accounts and coordinates responses to such needs with the Account Executive.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proficient using Microsoft Office
• Demonstrates strong communication skills including phone skills, listening skills, and presentation skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and high-pressure environments
• Open-minded and able to adapt to changing resources and requirements
• Not afraid of a challenge and continuously improving
• Critical Thinking and problem-solving skills
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and people-oriented
• Teamwork oriented
• Must have a positive attitude, be self-motivated
