Reporting to the Director of People Operations and based anywhere within the United States or Canada, this net-new position represents a unique opportunity for cross-company impact on a global scale. Aligned with our strategic objective to scale our operations and invest in enterprise-grade infrastructure, we are seeking a highly skilled HRIS Manager with a strong background in Workday to lead our People technology initiatives. The HRIS Manager will be responsible for our People technical stack, centered on Workday. In this capacity you will provide technical and functional expertise to support the People department and cross-functional stakeholders as a Workday Subject Matter Expert (SME). You will help to lead the successful implementation of Workday HCM, design and implement new modules and functionality within systems to improve business processes, streamline the flow of information, and enhance the end-user experience.

- Our cash compensation amount for this role ranges from $96,000 - $121,000 for most US locations and $106,000 - $134,000 for US locations with a higher cost of labor. All figures cited above are in $USD and pertain to workers located in the United States. Pay is based on several factors including market location, and may vary depending on job related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills.

As an HRIS Manager (Workday) you’ll:
- Lead the implementation of Workday modules, working closely with implementation partners and cross-functional teams on various workstreams, to ensure successful project delivery
- Manage and maintain the Workday HRIS system, including configuration, testing, and troubleshooting
- Partner with the People team and other departments to ensure system functionality meets business needs and provide technical and functional support, guidance, and training on key business processes
- Develop and maintain system documentation, quick reference guides, and user training materials
- Collaborate with vendors, IT, Finance, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure data integrity, integrations, and system security
- Stay current with HR technology trends and best practices, providing recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements
About you
You’ll thrive as an HRIS Manager (Workday) if you have:
- 5 years of experience in HRIS management, with a dedicated concentration in Workday implementation and maintenance
- Strong first-hand technical proficiency operating with Workday, including system configuration, reporting, and integrations
- Experience leading and managing cross-functional project teams
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
