What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breakdance Instructor position at WeBreak Hip-Hop Dance Company?
WeBreak is looking to hire BREAKDANCE INSTRUCTORS, to teach the youth how to break! Must be a bgirl/bboy AND have a passion for teaching. Our curriculum specializes in breakin' and we teach after school classes to kids throughout Long Beach, West LA, OC, and North LA (most teaching hours are between 1 PM - 5 PM, Monday-Friday).

Requirements:

- Must have a reliable car
- Must be a bgirl or bboy with sufficient breaking experience (solid fundamentals)
- Must have teaching experience (experience teaching ages 3-12 is preferred, but not required)
- Must be committed, capable, and coachable (three C's)
- Must have excellent communication and reliability

*EXPERIENCE NOTE: If you lack breaking experience but have a strong interest in teaching youth, we encourage you to apply. Our summer program, the WeBreak Breaking Development Program (WBDP), offers a 12-week opportunity for individuals without experience to learn breaking. Participants can then be hired as trainees and eventually become instructors with WeBreak.
