Basic Overview:
The Outbound Truck Stacker is responsible for ensuring orders are being loaded on the appropriate truck in a timely manner.
Job Responsibilities
- Floor loading ground parcel truck by hand to ensure space is being utilized properly
- Ensuring packages are loaded on the correct truck in a quick and productive manner
- Using a manual pallet jack to move large items from the packing room to the truck for loading
- Handling completed orders appropriately to avoid excessive damage costs for the company
- Safely operating and maintaining warehouse equipment to carry out job duties to ensure a safe work environment
- Keeping work zone clean and orderly to ensure a safe and efficient warehouse environment
- Communicating with warehouse assistant shipping supervisor with any issues or concerns that arise regarding work duties
- Performing other duties and tasks not listed as requested by both the shipping and assistant shipping supervisors
- Regular and predictable on-site attendance
Skills/Abilities:
- Must be able push and pull up to 150lbs
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 to 75lbs
- Must be able to constantly bend, squat, reach, climb, and stand throughout shift
- Must be able to work inside of a truck in varying temperatures
Pay starts at $14.00 per hour, with opportunity to see pay increase to $21.00 per hour inside the first 5 years of employment.
1st Shift Ground Shipping schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7am to 5:30pm CST
