WBS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking aSupv, Disp in ourChicago, Illinois location.
The Dispatcher Supervisor primary responsibility is to protect life and property and maintain the safety of all company and customer employees by properly and punctually responding to all emergencies.
- Primary responsibility is to protect life and property and maintain the safety of all company and customer employees by properly and punctually responding to all emergencies.
- Responsible for planning and scheduling and assigning work to the Dispatch group.
- The Operations Supervisor must be able to provide real time management of the dispatcher to ensure emergency orders and fieldwork are dispatched in the most efficient manner.
- Responsible for completing reports subject to ICC audits and those required by DOT City of Chicago, PGL/NSG and other government organizations.
- The position has a strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within gas operations and customer relations.
- Relies on previous work experience to plan and accomplish goals.
- Responsible for direct supervision of a group of Union and Nonunion employees responding to emergencies.
- Supervising Peoples Gas and North Shore Gas Dispatcher this includes scheduling assigning and dispatching work in the most efficient manner.
- Monitor and Support both dispatchers and field employees.
- High school diploma required. Formal engineering or technical training beyond high school is preferable.
- 1 years Project management
- 3 years Gas Operations or Customer Service
- 3 years Computer systems including Microsoft products and customer information or work management systems
- Operations Experience
