We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive (AE) to join our growing team to help drive the next wave of growth in our B2B business. As an Account Executive, you will close new deals and upsell opportunities with new and existing customers of our flagship software-as-a-service (SaaS) product. Your primary focus will be converting an incoming pipeline of leads to sales opportunities by tying customer pain points to Blue Rabbit’s suit of expanding solutions. In this role, you will have a closer mentality while also putting the customer first. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of surpassing goals using a solutions-based approach and thrive in a fast-paced startup built on innovation and market disruption.

When will you work?

  • This is a full-time position working remotely. The scheduled shift is Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, with some weekends for Trade Shows.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and grow relationships with new and existing clients within an assigned geographic region of the veterinary market.
  • Partner with Business Development to turn prospects into new customers and collaborate with Customer Success to close upsell opportunities.
  • Work closely with prospective customers to understand their business objectives and create the most appropriate solution to meet their needs.
  • Take ownership of a pipeline of sales leads and opportunities and qualify the strongest prospects to drive an efficient close rate.
  • Prepare and deliver in-depth software presentations and demos based on the client’s unique pain points and goals.
  • Create and maintain collaborative relationships with lateral Blue Rabbit sales departments that foster a transparent and resourceful experience for our customers.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and timely Salesforce records for all prospect and partner accounts; capture all sales activities to support team communications, company learnings, report generation, and general territory management.
  • Answer client inquiries concerning products, their uses, and the industry.
  • Periodically prepare and report results, the status of accounts, and leads to the manager.

Who You Are

  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the SaaS industry, focusing on closing new deals.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and articulate value propositions to win new business.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates passion and energy externally with the customer and internally with cross-functional teams.
  • Closer mentality.
  • Positive attitude, empathy, and high energy.
  • Diligent in keeping accurate and timely Salesforce records.
  • A team-oriented mindset, thriving in a collaborative environment that celebrates change.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.

What You’ve Done

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant years of experience in Sales Development or Customer Success in lieu of a degree.
  • 1-3 years of sales and customer service experience with direct customer contact.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Experience in managing complex sales cycles.
