Job Description:
The Dispatcher will report to Program Manager and is responsible for problem-solving and can provide a high-end customer service experience through our nationwide operations. Transportation experience is not mandatory but the desire to be successful is! As a Dispatcher you will be answering a high-volume of incoming calls, communicating to drivers, responding to email inquiries as well as problem solving throughout the day.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assign and monitor drivers throughout their routes.
- Communicate specific instructions to drivers in the field regarding passenger pick-ups and drop-offs.
- Assist with investigating and resolving customer concerns.
- Monitor traffic flow and send out alerts as needed.
- Respond to and coordinate emergency response.
- Provide ongoing support to Program Management and take on additional tasks as assigned.
- Ensure that all tasks comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, union contracts (vendors), environmental policies and/or government regulations.

Skills Required and Physical Demands:
- Friendly, patient, professional, personable, and always have a courteous demeanor.
- Extremely detail-oriented, with exceptional multi-tasking skills.
- Proven computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to listen effectively and understand clients’ needs to provide creative solutions.
- Have an energetic personality, with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
