- Responsible for setting tools, following the production schedule assuring production readiness of all presses and running production for OEM Steel bodies.
- Troubleshoot the set-up, reporting specific areas of repair to Tool & Die associates.
- Determine repair or maintenance requirements with last piece inspection.
- Accountable for high utilization of presses and dies
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
High School graduate or an equivalent combination and experience. Must be able to lift and carry 80 pounds. Must be capable of standing, bending, and stooping throughout shift. Must have a high level of hand/eye coordination. Must have good mechanical aptitude, the ability to accurately read dimensions in decimals, and have a moderate level of problem-solving and decision-making skills .
