Weitsman Recycling LLC, a division of Weitsman Family of Companies, the East Coast's largest privately held scrap metal processor, is currently looking to add a Fleet Manager to our team at our Owego, NY location.

Fleet Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain accountability and visibility over all assets within the fleet
- Serve as the liaison between the Maintenance Team and Transportation Leadership
- Schedule preventive vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency
- Maintain detailed records of vehicle maintenance
- Review invoices to ensure accuracy and timeliness of payments
- Provide reports to management on budgeting, maintenance, and fleet progress
- Develop methods to decrease cost and improve efficiency
- Track fleet metrics and other duties as assigned
Fleet Manager Requirements:
- Degree in logistics or accounting
- 2 years in a logistics role
- Experience in the transportation industry
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
