Summer '23 Intern - Asset Management

JOB SUMMARY

Welltower’s Outpatient Medical Asset Management internship will provide you a broad and valuable hands-on experience within the healthcare commercial real estate industry. This 10-12 week program is designed to give you meaningful hands on experience in Asset Management supporting development and execution of individual property strategies while also supporting the forecasting of those assets financial performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Compile data for the asset management plans and update plans under the direction of the asset management team
• Participate in performance reviews on actual financials versus expectation with a focus on occupancy and leasing activity.
• Support forecasting process through direct involvement in planning sessions with Leasing and Asset Management, and input to forecasting tool for occupancy assumptions.
• Financial statement and metric analysis
• Support individual lease deal analysis

TRAVEL

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Current undergraduate or graduate student majoring in Finance, Real Estate, or Business Administration is a a plus. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

Experience: Prior internship experience in related field is preferred.
