POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Human Resources Recruiter is the primary staff person within the agency to recruit new staff and implement recruitment and retention strategies and plans. This person represents the agency in all matters related to recruitment including job fairs, seminars and meetings. The HR Recruiter has close contact with the Residential team regarding scheduling, openings, transfers and terminations/resignations. The Recruiter creates the personnel file and ensures they are within compliance and responds to Medicaid and Licensure surveys.
SKILL, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field required or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of recruiting experience, managing the entire recruitment lifecycle (sourcing, interviewing, offer process)
- Experience in running reports and data analysis to watch recruiting metrics and trends

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with Residential team to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies
- Source and identify qualified candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media, networking, and referrals
- Conduct initial screening interviews to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring a positive and efficient candidate experience
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and job postings in the applicant candidate system
- Extend job offers to successful candidates, facilitating a smooth onboarding experience
- Complete pre-hire and new hire protocols in the HRIS and other recordkeeping systems
- Assist with orientation setup and facilitation, as needed
- Organize and participate in external recruiting sessions and job fairs
- Prepare and present updates on hiring statuses and metrics on a weekly basis
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to recruitment and hiring
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the recruitment process and the overall effectiveness of the HR function
- Performs other duties as assigned.
