Welcome Wagon is on the lookout for a dynamic individual to join our team as an Advertising Sales Representative, or as we like to call it, a Community Marketing Executive. The Role:
This 100% outside advertising sales role is not your typical 9-to-5. It's home-based, offering you the freedom to work on your terms. As an Advertising Sales Representative, you'll be selling consultative advertising, including direct mail, digital marketing, and social media programs within your local market. It's a blend of phone and in-person sales—setting appointments over the phone and sealing the deal face-to-face.
Responsibilities:
- Generate Leads: Identify potential clients through calls, emails, and networking.
- Sales Expertise: Conduct in-depth consultations and present tailored marketing solutions.
- Achieve Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets in your territory.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with local businesses.
- Market Insight: Stay informed about local market trends and competition.
- Effective Communication: Maintain accurate records and submit regular performance reports.

Requirements:
- Phone and in-person sales skills
- Satisfactory references, passing MVR-motor vehicle reports, valid driver's license, and motor vehicle insurance
- Ability to work independently with company support
- Comfortable with extended periods of standing or sitting
- Capability to transport a briefcase with marketing materials less than 10 lbs.
- Constant movement required for local business visits
- Familiarity with computer-related equipment
