Job Responsibilities
While these core responsibilities are essential, you will have the opportunity to broaden your skills and take on new challenges.
- Safety First - Ensure all tasks are performed with a strong emphasis on responsibility and safety.
- Bending Wizardry - Set up forming dies and operate brake press (Cincinnati) and tooling according to standards.
- Machine Mastery - Install, align, and secure specified punches, dies, cutting blades, and other fixtures in machine rams or beds.
- Upholding Quality Standards - Produce metal work pieces that meet quality and efficiency standards. Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications using micrometers, calipers, gauges, templates, and rulers.
- Embrace Variety - Complete required paperwork and other assigned tasks.
- Keeping it Clean - Perform all necessary housekeeping tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- At least two years of brake press experience.
- Excellent blueprint reading skills.
- Ability to choose appropriate dies.
- Experience with a 175 or 350 brake is preferred.
- Heavy manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Must be available to consistently work scheduled shifts.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to move or transfer products using an overhead crane and forklift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when required.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
- Specific vision abilities needed for this position include up-close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
