About Our HR Generalist
Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with a passion for hiring and growth. At Welker, our HR department strives to pursue potential, not only within ourselves but within the entire organization. This role is critical in assessing situations and using sound judgment to make good decisions.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Welker’s HR Software and various recruiting methods to match ideal candidates with open job roles; conduct pre-screen interviews to make recommendations to hiring managers and facilitate onsite interviews, employment offers, background checks, physicals, and drug screens
- Conduct new hire onboarding meetings and facilitate trainings with new hires and their managers; ensure employees are compliant and up to date with Welker’s Learning Management System training courses
- Implement changes to employee benefits and ensure all records are completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Coordinate company events including anniversaries, holidays, and wellness initiatives

Qualifications
- 2 years’ experience in HR functions
- Degree in Business, HR, or related field; or equivalent experience
- Capable of completing daily tasks and projects with minimal supervision and the utmost discretion; must be able to exercise good judgment
- Knowledge of regulations regarding workplace practices and authorization to work

This is a full-time, in-office position with the occasional opportunity for overtime. Starting salary is determined by experience, education, and potential.
