What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist - AAHA Accredited position at Wellhaven Pet Health Mill Plain?
WellHaven Pet Health Mill Plain is looking for a Veterinary Receptionist!
You must be able to handle a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment with multi-line phones, strong personalities, and worried clients. You must have basic computer skills with Word and the internet, cash handling, credit card machines, and fax machines. Experience with eVet Software is a plus.
Ideally we are looking for someone with experience within the veterinary industry and has a basic understanding of things like vaccines, medications, and client education. Your role will be to greet clients, both face-to-face and on the phone. Strong phone skills and strong scheduling skills are required. You must have the ability to multi-task between things like checking in clients, checking out clients and taking payment, preparing charts, and maintaining medical records all while having a positive attitude!
WellHaven Pet Health Mill Plain is a small animal, AAHA Accredited hospital located off of 164th across from Target in Vancouver, WA. Our hospital is newly built, top-of-the-line, and provides wellness services, routine surgeries, medical appointments, and daycare for canines. Our practice encourages preventative care through Care Companion Plans to offer clients an easy and affordable way to stay up to date on vaccines, bloodwork, and prophylactic dentals. We are proud to offer full mouth digital radiographs standard with all dental procedures, digital radiography, and a full Idexx suite of in-house lab machines.
