What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse position at Wellness Mobile IV?
**MUST BE LOCATED IN VENTURA COUNTY / SANTA BARBARA area or in a surrounding area.
JOB SUMMARY
Provides continuous and comprehensive services necessary for a mobile IV drip practice. To perform a variety of advanced clinical duties involved in assessing, controlling, and administering vitamin IV drips as prescribed. Will be staying in communication with our nurse practitioner when needed for the patient and clearance requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Identify physical illnesses through observations, interpretations of in-person findings before or while administering IV drip therapy.
* Works closely with the Nurse Practitioner to ensure the delivery of quality patient care via internal communication systems
* Maintain confidentiality and patient privacy
* Maintains Compliance with patient rights, guidelines and standards.
* Is comfortable with IV insertion and familiar with IV protocols when administering IV drip therapy.
* Performs in a calm and positive manner.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
* Completion of an nursing degree
* Possession of a valid Registered Nurse California license
* Preferably two years nursing experience in vitamin IV drip administration
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
* Advanced principles, procedures, methods, and techniques of medical and health care.
* MUST have experience in the IV drip therapy industry
* Advanced principles and practices of medical diagnosis.
* Approved medical treatments for a variety of health status.
* Procedures and methods of laboratory testing and interpretation.
* Medical terminology.
* Principles and procedures of medical record keeping.
* Pertinent federal, State, and local laws, codes and regulations regarding health care.
* Provide responsible medical care within the scope of protocols.
* Respond to emergency situations.
* Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
* Ability to commit to quality.
* Ability to work flexible hours.
* Ability to travel to and attend professional meetings, conferences, trainings and programs sites.
