Wells Fargo is seeking a Control Management Director - Information and Cyber Security
In this role, you will:
- Oversee and guide the team's execution of risk and control activities, ensuring timely completion of deliverables with a high level of quality and rigor
- Lead the assessment of controls for the relevant security domains by identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement by analyzing alignment with applicable regulations, policies, and industry guidance
- Drive alignment of domain authoritative sources, security policies, enterprise controls, enterprise security solutions and bespoke/local security solutions to maintain a coherent control environment
- Guide issue management activities to ensure effective assessment, root cause analysis, remediation planning, and overall execution throughout the issue lifecycle
- Guide control management activities to ensure effective design and logical association with policies
- Support governance routines for the relevant domain
- Represent the state of the control environment to risk stakeholders, including Independent Risk Management, Audit, Legal, and regulators
- Provide senior risk and control leadership for major initiatives to ensure alignment of diverse organizations' control deliverables
- Work with security policy owners to ensure that existing, updated, and new security policies can be understood and implemented by technology asset owners and users
- Lead the evolution of ICS control capabilities and contributing to improvement of the enterprise risk management framework
- 8 years of Risk Management or Business Controls experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4 years of Management experience
- Knowledge of industry guidance, including but not limited to, NIST 800-53, the Critical Security Controls, and COBIT
- Established experience in technology governance, audit, risk management or financial services industry experience with direct experience in governance, audit, or risk management
- Experience developing and/or assessing policies, standards, and procedures for technology and/or security functions
- Engineering or Operational experience with technology infrastructure, including: cloud, servers, workstation, or network platforms
- Engineering or Operational experience with information and cyber security domains, including: penetration testing, vulnerability management, secure configuration, encryption, digital certificates, authentication, security monitoring
- Drive continuous improvement in risk and control practices for cyber security
- Provide regular and timely performance feedback to staff to drive high-quality outcomes
