Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant (Event Supplier Strategy Planner) to manage supplier products and services by negotiate pricing, contract terms and service offerings through Request for Proposal (RFP), bid analysis and recommendations to Wells Fargo Meeting & Events (WFME) and business partners.

About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant (Event Supplier Strategy Planner) to manage supplier products and services by negotiate pricing, contract terms and service offerings through Request for Proposal (RFP), bid analysis and recommendations to Wells Fargo Meeting & Events (WFME) and business partners.
In this role, you will:
- Update the event management software tool (Aventri) with accurate financial information based on sourcing/contracting results.
- Manage and administer the relationships for suppliers including planning and implementing purchasing activities (sourcing and contracting).
- Measure, monitor, and report performance levels of suppliers, and completing vendor/supplier evaluations and scorecards, conducting review meetings, and escalating and resolving customer service issues with the supplier/vendor.
- Partner with assigned Meeting & Event planner to issue and evaluate RFPs and act as a focal point for sourcing and vendor management activities.
- Identify ways to improve supply chain performance (cost savings, quality improvements, discount programs etc.), and identifying improvements in tools and processes to streamline and automate the supply/commodity management process.
- Maintain proactive, positive, open line of communication between WFME, business partner and other operational team members.
- Proactively work with WFME team members to identify sourcing and contracting requirements prior to supplier communications.
- Utilize WFME templates and guidelines to execute supplier contracts for assigned programs
- Act with integrity, initiative and sound judgment to reinforce trust, professionalism and commitments
- 2 years of Business Operations or Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Corporate meeting & event planning or sourcing & contracting experience
- Strong Knowledge and Understanding of international hotel destinations and supplies negotiation and understanding of international contracts
- Experience managing supplier contracts
- Experience managing vendor relationships to include: contract negotiations, oversight, and SLA management
- Strong operational risk experience to include: strong analytics, managerial, and negotiation skills
- Experience using Aventri, Cvent, Lanyon, or similar Event management software
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, teams)
- CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) preferred
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
