In this role, you will:
- Collaborate and consult with business partners such as the broader finance team, treasury functions, transformation office, risk modeling groups, etc. to understand end-to-end forecast process, assess opportunities for improvement, and support ongoing strategic initiatives
- Develop strategic roadmap to transform the forecast process to achieve optimal automation and process efficiency
- Establish and gain buy-in for ideas / vision / define solutions that are attainable and directly support business needs
- Lead team through implementation of the strategic roadmap, ensuring efficiency, data quality, risk mitigation, compliance, and well-controlled processes
- Exercise sound judgement, and apply an appropriate level of skepticism and review and challenge through collaborative partnership
- Produce complex reporting and analytics to provide management with meaningful insight into underlying drivers impacts balances and yields forecasts
- Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- 5 years of Treasury, finance, change management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experiences in process improvements and automation
- Familiarity of emerging financial / analytical tools
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
- Knowledge and understanding of financial analysis, forecasting as well as balance sheet and net interest income behavior
- A strong track record of change management, problem solving, attention to detail, critical thinking with a willingness to engage in continuous process improvement
- Ability to work independently, be highly organized, able to prioritize multiple tasks, and take on new challenges
- Capability to interpret and communicate complex financial data to a variety of stakeholders and management levels in a clear and concise format
- Flexibility to manage multiple projects in a time sensitive environment
