About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Data Management Analyst. This role will support the implementation of a Quality Assurance program as part of the Data Control program for various applications across different data domains, focusing on providing confidence that quality requirements will be fulfilled. The Lead Data Management Analyst will be reporting to the Data Management Manager in the Enterprise Data Controls Management team.

The Lead Data Management Analyst will be reporting to the Data Management Manager in the Enterprise Data Controls Management team.
In this role, you will:
- Perform necessary Quality Assurance testing on the data controls to ensure data risks and controls have been accurately and adequately identified
- Ensure implementation and maintenance of Quality Assurance for data controls
- Validate that controls are documented and inventoried according to data management policy
- Review and report self-identified issues, and control Quality Assurance results
- Maintain regular reviews of controls, procedures and templates
- Engage business stakeholders in integrating or implementing the Quality Assurance processes and procedures
- Develop and refine Quality Assurance audits as required and where necessary
- Adhere to data governance standards and procedures
- Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff members
- Recommend remediation of process or control gaps that align to management strategy
- Represent client in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies
- Partner with groups and various levels of seniority companywide to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution
- 5 years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3 years of quality assurance experience
- 2 years of experience in data management related areas such as metadata or lineage, data governance or data quality
- 2 years of experience with applying, executing, reviewing controls or assurance with business processes
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
- Ability to interact with a diverse team
- Ability to lead, train, and provide feedback to staff and corresponding managers
- Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
- Ability to successfully use technology to deliver or facilitate training in a classroom environment
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment
- Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
- Work from Office 3 days a week with 2 days remote work from home
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
