The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Consumer Credit Card, Retail Services, Consumer Deposits, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services, Marketing and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses. PVSI's focus is on delivering the next generation of payments and deposit capabilities and advancing our digital and online offerings to design new customer experiences and products. Within PVSI, the Shared Services Team is involved in a wide-variety of high-priority initiatives across the company and this role will be in the Group Portfolio Delivery Organization, which is dedicated to project managing the high-priority initiatives.
Program Manager will be accountable for managing a program of projects or for the direct and independent management of the most complex projects of the business that typically include multiple systems and significant diversity in multiple lines of business. Successfully informs and influences sponsors and key stakeholders, senior, and executive leadership to promote success of program and/or project performance and prioritization, frequently through times of ambiguity and significant, long-term obstacle management. Seeks counsel of peers, stakeholders, and/or program/project leads in times of strategically complex or critical ambiguity and adapts planning, communications, and engagements.
THE ROLE
This Program Manager role will be responsible for Program and Project Management and Accessibility leadership. The specific responsibilities will include:
- Lead initiatives to ensure their organization’s processes, procedures, methods, artifacts, and other deliverables align with the accessibility requirements of Wells Fargo’s Online Accessibility Standards and policies
- Promote accessibility within the organization; advocate for accessibility as a vital part of the customer experience where prevention and Universal Design are our guiding principles
- Oversee teams comprised of Accessibility user experience design and technology experts who consult on design solutions, collaborate with designers and front-end developers, accessibility testers, and manage an established accessibility testing program
- Drive accessibility strategy, processes and standards within Agile and waterfall frameworks
- Promote accessibility as a delivery practice, and its impact on standards, delivery, cost management, and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with key partners to safeguard the accessibility experiences and adherence to federal regulations and enterprise policies
- Coordinate and enforce systems, policies, procedures, and productivity and advocate on behalf of the team to ensure Accessibility standards and processes are followed
- Keep up to date with the latest accessibility industry laws and guidelines
- Participate in the enterprise Accessibility community through participation in accessibility forums, events, and trainings
- Ensure that solutions for accessibility contribute to a positive user experience for all customers

- 3+ years of experience managing accessible solutions and teams comprised of Accessibility (American's with Disabilities Act) user experience design and technology experts who consult on customer facing internet/web design solutions, collaborate with designers and front-end developers, accessibility testers and manage an established accessibility testing program - accessible solutions and/or accessibility-related processes
- 5+ years managing complex technology solution delivery following SDLC
- Financial services industry experience
- General understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, Universal Design and the current legal landscape
- IAAP Certified Professional Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) Certification
- Have Attended Accessibility Industry Conferences in the past several years
- General knowledge about assistive technologies
- Marketing experience
- Proven ability to identifying creative approaches to accessibility challenges and problems
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
