In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop one or more specialized customer service and operations functional teams within Operations area with complex and risk in functional area
- Develop strategies to improve staffing processes, ensure specialized functions meet regulatory guidelines in support of risk management and compliance
- Engage stakeholders and internal partners associated within the Operations area
- Work independently on moderately complex issues and projects
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development and escalates issues to more experienced management
- Provide training, performance, evaluation and coaching of less experienced team
- Make decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives and operations of functional area and team to meet business objectives
- Interpret and develop policies and procedures for operation functions with low to moderate complexity within scope of responsibility
- Provide responsibility for budget and financial performance
- Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
- Lead team to achieve objectives
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Operations
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications:
- 4 years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2 years of leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience leading an Operations Team in a production environment
- Experience leading other exempt level managers
- Ability to anticipate and make timely and independent judgment to identify and resolve problems
- Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience directing activities of team members, performance management, career development, coaching, mentoring, and succession planning
- Ability to motivate and provide performance feedback to staff
- Financial industry background with Lock Box or other Banking Operations experience
- Knowledge and understanding of Lockbox Operations department workflow processes
- Experience successfully collaborating with others in a change driven environment
- Experience directing activities of team members, performance management, career development, coaching, mentoring, and succession planning
- Experience driving process improvement efforts to gain efficiencies
- Experience with capacity planning, forecasting, and measurements

- Experience in trend analysis and recommending appropriate changes to identify and address root cause issues

- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization including senior leadership/management

Job Expectations:
- This is a weekend position to work Thursday - Monday and off on Tuesday/Wednesday
- Hours are 8:00 am to 5:30 pm working with open ended requirement to support business needs and volumes
- Flexibility and willing to work non-standard hours; including holidays, weekends & extended shifts if needed to support this 24/7 location
- Ability to work on-site at the posted work location
