About This Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Product Owner who will have responsibility for managing a critical run on the bank platforms for the Payments organization. This includes managing prioritization for a pipeline of deliverables from intake, through requirements, development, validation, delivery, and post-implementation activities. There are two roles, one supporting core payment engines Enterprise Money Transfer System (EMTS) and Global Money Transfer System (GMTS) and one supporting intermediary applications (J-systems).

In This Role, You Will
- Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives
- Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
- Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance
- Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
- Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
- Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
- Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group

- Required work locations listed above
- 5 years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5 years' previous experience with intake, delivery and issue resolution
- 2 years as a Product Owner in an Agile environment
- Previous experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver timely requirements to create a healthy backlog of work
- Process improvement experience with delivering technology solutions and working with various stakeholders across all levels of the organization
- Strong presentation and communication capabilities to message the health of the work, including status updates, data driven results, conflict or risk points, impediments, objectives & key results and delivery timelines
- Financial services or Payment's product experience
- Agile and or Product Owner certifications a plus
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
