Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Chandler, AZ.
Job Role and Responsibility: Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents programs using Agile development practices. Develops detailed design documentation and departmental technical procedures. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported technology domain. Support the strategy, design, and engineering for GPE including, upgrades and deployments, from engineering / implementation perspective. Establish plan to transition application from OSB to Java while helping with the Cloud Transformation. Drive projects and as an escalation point, provides guidance and direction in resolution of highly complex technical problems. Gather performance statistics to assist in determining hardware and communication tools needed to support projected transaction volumes, response time and system availability targets. Works closely with Product Owner and Business Analyst to understand Business and Product Owner requirements and translate them in robust working code. Creates technical stories for the requested effort. Participates in Agile ceremonies. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.
Travel required: up to 10% domestic.
Required Qualifications: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving software engineering experience.
Specific skills required:
- 5 years of web application development experience
- 5 years of Java experience
- 5 years of experience writing relational database queries for stored procedures, query optimization and performance tuning
- 4 years of GitHub experience
- 3 years of experience with external user facing applications
- 1 year of Autosys experience
- Experience with microservices, performance testing, REST, Splunk, Apache Kafka, Spring Framework, Software Development
